Watchdog demands Bashneft disqualify 4 employees for violations

MOSCOW, Feb 9 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Federal Service for Environmental, Technological, and Nuclear Supervision has demanded oil company Bashneft disqualify four employees due to violations of industrial safety regulations, a representative of the service told PRIME on Thursday.

The service wants the company to fire three employees of Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim petrochemical facility – Director for Health, Safety and Environment Protection Artyom Galyautdinov, head of the Ufaneftekhim industrial site Reshit Sharipov, and head of the technological supervision department Andrei Kuznetsov and head of the Bashenft-Novoil industrial site Artur Munirov.

The service submitted relevant materials to a court.

The service is also conducting investigations of three accidents that happened at Bashneft’s viscosity breaking facilities on January 20, January 29 and Thursday, the service said.
